Elite Transportation Limo and Security Services alleges that Lohan regularly used them over a three month period in 2009, during which time she accrued a bill of $33,978.
Despite repeated attempts to settle the bill, Lohan has yet to pay the company, meaning late charges and other penalties have increased the amount to upwards of $90,000.
However, a representative for Lohan claims that she has yet to be officially notified of any fresh legal charges.
"Lindsay has not been served with any lawsuit, and we cannot comment on a lawsuit we have not yet seen," the representative told E! News.
Attorney Laurie Rau has since confirmed the company has indeed filed papers against both Lohan and Tri-Star Entertainment for unpaid services.
Lohan completed 35 days of house arrest in June after pleading no contest to the purported theft of a $2,500 necklace, and has since remained under probation and been ordered to complete 480 hours of community service.
The actress later said she had 'enjoyed' the experience of being held under house arrest because it had afforded her a break from the media spotlight.
