Rapper DMX was put in jail yesterday, after failing to show up in court.
The 35-year-old was due in court to answer to a host of driving offences, but did not turn up at the time stated. Judge Barbara Leak issued a warrant for his arrest, and he was brought in.
DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, is being held on $25,000. He had previously failed to turn up to two trials, and consequently the judge ignored the plea that he was ill.
