Dappy denies girlfriend assault claims: 'I love Kaye Vassell'

Dappy has denied claims that he was arrested on suspicion of attacking his girlfriend over the weekend.

Reports claimed that the N-Dubz star spent 12 hours in police custody on Saturday, before eventually being released without charge. However, both Dappy and his partner Kaye Vassell have dismissed the allegations.

Vassell wrote on Twitter: "Desperate Times Call for Desperate Measures. Me and Dappy are VERY HAPPY and He Would Never Lay a Finger on Me. Papers Actually Make me SICK (sic).

"U Don't Knw Anything so Please Allow Passing Judgement. This is MY Family ur All Discussing like its Nothing. Drop it Now Dappys not in jail."

The mother-of-two continued: "Big up To My Wonderful Neighbours Who All told them Stinking Journo's to F**k off!! They were so Desperate they started Asking 12yr olds what They Knew about Me and Dappy. Someones Mum Came out a Went Physco on them Telling them Stop Talking to Minors looool."

Meanwhile, Dappy himself stated: "All I Have to Say is, I Love Kaye the Mother of my Kids and My 2 Beautiful Boys. We are a Unit. Nothing Comes Between FAMILY..NaNa x

Vassell recently admitted to leaking a naked picture of Dappy, who scored a number one with debut solo single 'No Regrets' last month.
