The country singer made the much-criticised comments while discussing Obama's recent golf game with Speaker of the House John Boehner during an appearance on Fox & Friends last Monday.
He likened the game to "Hitler playing golf with [Israeli prime minister Benjamin] Netanyahu".
Williams later claimed his remarks were misunderstood, but the media firestorm led ESPN to axe his song 'All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight' as the theme tune for Monday Night Football.
The musician has announced that he'll open up about the controversy during an interview on The View on Tuesday.
Williams said he'd agreed to appear on The View in part because hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar had defended his comments.
"Whoopi and Joy understood what I was saying. After watching the clip of their show, I knew I needed to talk to them first," Williams wrote on his website. "Who knows Whoopi may run for President and I'll be her Vice President… now that will really stir it up!"
The star will also tape an interview with conservative pundit Sean Hannity to air on Fox News on Tuesday evening.
In addition to his television appearances, Williams will release a new song about the scandal called 'I'll Keep My ...' later this week.
