Spencer Grammer welcomes baby boy named Emmett Emmanual Hesketh

Spencer Grammer and husband James Hesketh have welcomed their first child.

The Greek actress gave birth to a baby boy, named Emmett Emmanual Hesketh, on Monday, reports People.

The baby weighed 7lb 7oz (3.37 kg) and a spokesperson for Grammer said that she and her new son are "doing wonderfully".

Grammer was first rumoured to be pregnant in March, though representatives for the star never confirmed the news at the time.

She and Hesketh announced their engagement in January 2011 and subsequently married one month later in New York.

Spencer recently revealed that her father and Boss actor Kelsey Grammer was excited about becoming a first-time grandfather as he loves babies.

"Doesn't everyone love babies? They've got a certain smell and stuff, so he's very excited for that," she said.
