Hip-hop star Lil' Kim is reportedly "thrilled" to learn that she will be released from prison today.
The rapper, real name Kimberly Jones, has been imprisoned in Philadelphia Federal Detention Centre on perjury and conspiracy charges since last September, and will be released into a 30 day period of house arrest.
According to Gigwise, she released a statement saying, "I am thrilled to be coming home. I thank all my fans for their letters as well as my family and friends for all their support throughout the past ten months."
Kim's attorney added, "We are pleased that Kim is coming home to start the next phase of her life. She has accepted responsibility and handled herself in an exemplary manner."
