Newlyweds officially single again

Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey are now officially single again.

The couple, that started in MTV's reality show Newlyweds, had court papers filed in Los Angeles on 30 June.

Lachey, 32, and Simpson, 25, filed for divorce in December after three years of marriage.

Simpson starred as Daisy Duke in The Dukes of Hazzard last year and Lachey released his second solo record 'What's Left of Me,' where he sings about the pain of the pair's breakup, in May.
