Sharon Osbourne: 'Being a grandmother means you can spoil and indulge'

Sharon Osbourne has expressed her excitement over becoming a first time grandparent.

The Talk co-host's son Jack Osbourne and fiancée Lisa Stelly announced on Tuesday that they are expecting their first child together next year.

Sharon discussed the happy news on the CBS chat show on Wednesday, saying: "Our family is growing, and I love that. It's just a blessing, it's a joy. They're going to have a baby in April. Yes!"

She also confessed that she plans to spoil her grandchild, adding: "That's what comes with being a grandmother. You can spoil, you can indulge, and then say, 'Okay, now let your parents be the ones to teach you right from wrong. I'm not. What do you want? Have it!'"

Jack announced his engagement to actress Stelly last month. The couple have been dating for less than a year.

He recently slammed "assholes" in the press for intruding upon Stelly's privacy and calling for the media to approach the situation in "the right way".
