'American Idol' Fantasia Barrino reveals sex of baby

Fantasia Barrino has revealed that she is expecting a baby boy.

The American Idol winner announced at an August charity event that she is pregnant with her second child.

Barrino said at the time: "For a while I walked around figuring out what will they say and what will they think about me. But now I tell you I don't live my life for folk. This child that I am carrying… God has given me this child. And I don't have to hide it from none of y'all."

Barrino was interviewed on The Wendy Williams Show this week and revealed that her son is due on December 29.

"I'm having a boy... I'm at home. I'm on bed rest right now," she said.

Williams went on to ask Barrino if she is still dating Antwaun Cook and if he fathered her child, but the musician responded: "I'm not gonna talk about that."

Barrino is also mother to 9-year-old daughter Zion Quari.
