'Buffy' star Charisma Carpenter 'involved in hit-and-run'

Charisma Carpenter has claimed that she was involved in a hit-and-run.

The Supernatural actress contacted local authorities after being struck by another vehicle in Los Angeles earlier this week, according to TMZ.

The Buffy the Vampire Slayer veteran said that she witnessed the driver crash into four other cars before leaving the scene.

However, Carpenter revealed that she managed to take down the license plate number, which she has provided to the officials investigating the case.

Carpenter and her former Buffy co-star James Marsters were previously confirmed to guest star in an episode of Supernatural's upcoming seventh season.

Carpenter previously revealed that she was keen to star in the CW series Secret Circle, confessing via Twitter that she is disappointed not to be part of the project.
