Actress and singer Jennifer Lopez has obtained an injunction preventing the publication of her former husband's book.
Lopez married waiter Ojani Noa in 1997, but divorced him less than a year later. The actress claims that the couple made a non-disclosure, "non-disparagement" pact when they separated, and previously used this as grounds to block Noa's attempts to reveal details of their time together.
According to Reuters, the terms of the injunction prevent Noa from "criticising, denigrating, casting in a negative light or otherwise disparaging" Lopez and from disclosing "any private or intimate details" about Lopez or their relationship for financial gain.
Signed by both parties, the injunction will stay in place until the dispute is settled either out of court or through a non-jury trial.
