'Housewives' star desperate for a baby

Actress Marcia Cross is reportedly keen to start a family as soon as possible after her recent marriage.

The Desperate Housewives star worried that she would never find a suitable partner, but having done so she is eager to complete the package.

At the height of her show's success, 44-year-old Cross confided to her friend Lori Loughlin that she was planning to adopt. Loughlin told American magazine TV Guide: "She wants to start a family. Marcia would love to have children."
