Hilary Duff reveals that she is expecting baby boy

Hilary Duff has revealed that she is expecting a baby boy.

The former Lizzie McGuire actress and hockey player husband Mike Comrie announced in August that they are expecting their first child together.

Duff confirmed the sex of the baby during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, scheduled to air Monday, October 17.

"I haven't told anyone yet. I just found out," she told DeGeneres. "I had a feeling it was a boy the whole time."

Duff, who said that she is "a little over four months" and her pregnancy has been "super easy" so far, also revealed to DeGeneres that Comrie had been in the shower when she discovered they are expecting.

"I just ran in and he was in the shower and I just held up the test and I was like, 'Oh my God'. And he was like, 'Ahh!' He was soaking wet. We were just like a mess and started crying. It was really exciting."

Duff and Comrie married at a ceremony in Santa Barbara, California in August 2010.

The couple, who began dating in 2007, revealed their baby news on their first wedding anniversary, writing on Duff's official website: "Baby Makes Three!!! We are extremely happy and ready to start this new chapter of our lives."
