Kate Middleton, Pippa Middleton dazzle with fashion choices - pictures
The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton and her sister Pippa Middleton might not have been together last night, but they both managed to steal the limelight at their respective engagements.
Wearing a red gown, Kate joined husband Prince William at St James's Palace for the 100 Women in Hedge Funds event, funds from which are donated to the Child Bereavement Charity - of which Prince William is patron.
Meanwhile, Pippa Middleton was among the guests at the Too Many Women and Allsaints Party For Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
The 28-year-old wore a silk maxi dress with floral pattern from Dannii Minogue's Project D fashion range.
Earlier this week, Mary Portas said that she did not understand why Kate was being named a "fashion icon". Her comments came after an online shopping website named the Duchess 'Queen of high street fashion'.
