Shane Warne, Hurley romance ruined confidence, says Simone Callahan

Shane Warne's ex-wife Simone Callahan has reportedly revealed that his relationship with Liz Hurley caused her a lot of pain.

The Australian mother-of-three, who is now in a relationship with model Toby Roberts, was allegedly still living with and romantically involved with Warne when she discovered that he was dating Hurley late last year.

Callahan is quoted as telling Woman's Day magazine: "My confidence took a beating".

However, she said that Roberts helped her through the low period, adding: "He is such a genuine person, so positive with a very good nature. He's very strong - which I like - and he makes me laugh. There's a lot of magic there."

Despite previous reports that he "loves" Warne, Roberts admitted that there was no love lost between them when they first met at Warne and Callahan's son's football match.

"We really didn't talk about it, but it was fine," he said.

Both couples are expected to attend the Melbourne Cup, but Roberts said that they will be avoiding Warne and Hurley.

"We're going to Derby Day and I believe they're going to be [there]", he said. "Let's face it, it would be a circus if we were both at Flemington on the same day."

Callahan also revealed that she wishes Warne and Hurley "nothing but luck" for their impending wedding.

Roberts recently described Callahan and Warne's relationship now as "very amicable", "healthy" and "mature".
