Julien's Auctions have announced that the 1992 Valentino dress Midler wore to the 1992 Oscars and several gowns designed by Bob Mackie will go on the block on November 12 in Beverly Hills.
A Mackie dress worn during Midler's 1980 'Bette! Divine Madness' tour will likely earn $2,000 (£1,265) to $3,000 (£1,898), while the mermaid costume from Midler's recent Las Vegas stage show is expected to take between $1,000 (£632) to $1,500 (£949).
A portion of the proceeds will benefit Midler's charity New York Restoration Project, which helps to restore parks and gardens.
Midler has signed on for the upcoming comedy Us & Them, which will also star Billy Crystal.
The actress recently pulled out of HBO's Phil Spector biopic because of a herniated disc, according to reports.
