Carl Barat has said that the Dirty Pretty Things' debut album is a proud achievement for him.
From Waterloo To Anywhere is the first album that the singer has written without the influence of cocaine. The frontman penned the entire record while clean of the drug.
He said: "When I was doing that I wasn't really interested in writing songs. It was all about waffling crap. It's like banging your head against a brick wall trying to express you emotions on cocaine. And you can make any addiction a scapegoat if you aren't performing well."
