'Twilight: Breaking Dawn' star Kellan Lutz: 'My gay fans are loyal'

Kellan Lutz has said that his gay fans are very loyal.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 actor suggested that he loves interacting with gay supporters because they're always up for a hug.

"Oh, they're the best. I love them. When I meet gay fans out and about, they're so great to talk to - and I'm big on hugging, because I'm from the Midwest," he told The Advocate.

"They're just so energetic and loving. I'm proud to have those fans, and their support means a lot to me. I don't want just girls coming to my movies; I want guys to come too."

Lutz recently denied that he's gay, blaming rumours about his sexuality on women that he has rejected.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 opens in cinemas worldwide on November 18.
