TMZ reported on Friday that Dina is currently shopping a memoir which discusses Lindsay's drug and alcohol abuse and trouble with the law.
The website reportedly obtained a copy of a draft of the book's prologue, an excerpt of which read: "I blamed her friends, her career and her handlers for an (sic) newfound lifestyle of partying excessively.
"Drinking, drugging and behaving irresponsibly became Lindsay's way of daily living - and it tore me up inside."
Dina also apparently detailed her reasons behind allowing Lindsay to move to Los Angeles alone at such a young age, explaining: "How could I deny my daughter the chance of a lifetime? How could I hold Lindsay back from her dream of becoming an actress?
"So, I listened to others and sent my daughter to Hollywood with a few pieces of luggage and a chaperone."
However, Dina has since insisted that the rumours of the book are "a total lie" and that she has not written a single word about her daughter for publication.
"I would never do a negative book about my child," she told Gossip Cop. "When and if [I write a book, it will be] all positive".
Lindsay's probation was revoked earlier this week after she failed to perform her full sentence of 360 hours of community service at a Downtown Women's Centre following her jewellery store shoplifting case in January.
