A 34-year-old man has denied plotting to murder singer Joss Stone.

Kevin Liverpool was one of two men arrested in June, charged with conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm and rob the 'Super Duper Love' star.

Both Liverpool and Junior Bradshaw were apprehended near her Devon home during the summer, where they were found with a body bag, rope and swords, as well as maps and aerial photos of Stone's property.

Also appearing at Exeter Crown Court, Bradshaw, 31, did not enter any pleas, BBC News reports.

While 24-year-old Stone was not present in court, her mother Wendy was in attendance in the public gallery. Both men were remanded in custody, and the case has been adjourned until December.

Speaking about the plot, Stone has said that the two men were "completely off their trolley", and has insisted that she won't move out of her £500,000 property.
