Conrad Murray's defence team also launched their case towards the end of the day's proceedings, after four weeks of testimonies for the prosecution.
The final prosecution witness described the defence's claims of Jackson injecting himself with propofol as "a crazy scenario".
Beverly Hills police officer Dona Norris was the first witness called to the stand by the defence, and answered questions about Murray's first 911 call on the day of Jackson's death.
An LA Police Department surveillance expert was also called to discuss security footage outside of Jackson's mansion.
Last week, a propofol expert claimed that Michael Jackson had more drugs in his system than originally revealed by Murray.
Murray's defence team dropped their original claim that Michael Jackson swallowed the anaesthetic propofol himself two weeks ago.
The trial is scheduled to continue for at least another three weeks and Murray could face up to four years in prison if found guilty.
