Hudson shares baby experience

Kate Hudson plans to help new mothers who want her advice and share the lessons she learnt in dealing with becoming a mother.

The You, Me and Dupree actress found it difficult to lose the five stone she gained whilst pregnant with her first son Ryder, and sometimes slipped into depression.

However, the star managed to overcome these challenges by thinking positively and is now eager to help anyone facing the same difficulties.

Contactmusic quotes her as saying: "I think one of the most important things for mums to do, and hopefully I'll be able to write it down on a piece of paper and give it to all women who ask me this question, is to take the time out of your day to do something for yourself and make yourself feel good."

"Part of that is the way your body feels, not necessarily how it looks - especially after you've gained 70 pounds. I was depressed. I was the happiest, jolliest pregnant woman, then I had the baby and then I was just fat... I didn't lose any weight delivering," Hudson revealed.
