Simon Baker: 'I'm too lazy to become a US citizen'

The Australian actor also quipped that his family would oppose him taking up permanent residence in America.
"I'm such a procrastinator, I still haven't [applied to be a citizen]. A lot of my relatives in Australia think it would be sacrilegious. You can have dual citizenship, but try saying that to the guy down at the pub," Baker told Parade.
Baker also revealed that he is not nearly as successful at investing in the stock market as the Wall Street hotshot he plays in new film Margin Call.
"I like putting my money into things like food and shelter. I'm probably a bad example of an investor," he said.
Margin Call is now playing in US cinemas.
Baker also stars in The Mentalist, which airs Thursdays at 10/9c on CBS.
