Sheryl Crow has announced that she wants to be a mother.
The singer is currently single following her split from fiancé Lance Armstrong, but her battle against breast cancer has made her more determined than ever to have children.
"I do think I'll have kids," she told Good Morning America. "Whether it comes from somebody else's womb and I adopt or whether it's my own, I really have a strong feeling that I will and I think it will be sooner rather than later."
Crow admits that she has no plans to rush down the aisle - she believes that finding a person who will "create space" for her would currently be enough.
"The idea of marriage, I love that idea, but I think what I love more is just being with somebody who really creates space for you and gets you," she explained.
