Eva Longoria: 'I didn't tell Jessica Simpson to cancel her wedding'

Eva Longoria has denied reports that she told Jessica Simpson to cancel her wedding.

The Desperate Housewives star tweeted about her frustration with tabloid magazines, accusing them of lying to the public.

"Wow, some dumb magazine(InTouch) is reporting I told Jessica Simpson to cancel her wedding date because I'm superstitious! (sic)," Longoria wrote.

She continued: "So not true! My denial is at end of story but they ran it anyway. Makes no sense how they can lie to the public."

Last month, Longoria confessed that she is not sure if she will get married again after filing for divorce from Tony Parker in late 2010.

Simpson is rumoured to be expecting a child with fiancé Eric Johnson.
