The 18-year-old Melbourne-based model, who beat Liz Braithwaite and Simone Holtznagel to be crowned as winner of the reality television show earlier this week, insisted that she is "happy" and "healthy".
Cox told the Herald Sun: "I'm a very healthy girl and am always exercising. You do want to do the right thing and be a good role model for people, and not promote the idea that if you want to be a model you have to be skinny and look the right way. I am naturally thin, but I am a happy, healthy girl and that's what counts."
She also revealed that she is a good education role model because she is currently studying for her final VCE examinations. Cox is then planning to relocate to New York and kick start her international modelling career.
It was revealed yesterday that Braithwaite's long-term boyfriend had cheated on her during the show, but she has since taken him back, saying: "I say forgive and forget sometimes."
After her victory, Cox said: "I feel incredible. I feel really out of this world. I definitely want to head straight to New York to pursue my modelling career and to thank my Melbourne fans."
