Hilton learns from her mistakes

Simple Life star Paris Hilton has spoken frankly about her infamous sex tape, and insists that she has learnt from her mistake.

The multi-talented celebrity became infamous after she was featured in an X-rated tape released by former boyfriend Rick Salomon without her permission, but says she has put the affair behind her.

In an interview with The Guardian, Hilton said: "I haven't seen it. He's a pig. He's disgusting. That was the most horrible thing somebody could do to you. I was just very young and I really loved him and I was a stupid little girl. So I've learned a lot from my mistakes."

Despite rumours that she allowed the tape to be made public in order to achieve fame and benefit from the profits, the 'Stars Are Blind' singer is adamant that this is untrue.

"I didn't receive one dollar. I was going to sue but that meant I'd be in court for a whole year. So I said, 'I've just got to take this as a lesson in life. Don't ever trust anyone again like that, move on, and just forget about it,'" she commented.
