The 'She Bangs' singer will play revolutionary Che Guevara in Evita alongside Michael Cerveris, who has been cast as Argentinean President Juan Perón.
Accomplished stage actress Elena Roger will take on the title role of Argentinian First Lady Eva Perón.
Evita, which was written by Andrew Lloyd Weber and Tim Rice, will begin a month of previews at New York City's Marquis Theater in March.
A full opening is planned for April 5.
Martin previously starred on Broadway in a 1999 production of Les Miserables.
