Marie Osmond doing 'great' after hospital scare

Marie Osmond has said that she is feeling 'great' despite being rushed to hospital earlier this week with suspected bronchitis.

The 52-year-old singer was admitted to a Las Vegas hospital on Wednesday evening after complaining of tightness in the lungs, but was released later the same night.

"I'm fine," Osmond told People. "I had a cough.

"I'm doing really well. It was a big deal that was made from nothing."

Osmond performed a 90-minute set only 24 hours after her brief stint in hospital.

During an appearance this weekend to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of her doll collection, Osmond joked that some media outlets had reported she was in a coma.

The singer remarried first husband Stephen Craig earlier this year. The pair have a 28-year-old son together, also named Stephen.
