Hilary Swank 'fires staff over Chechen incident'?

Hilary Swank has reportedly fired her manager over her recent Chechen controversy.

The Million Dollar Baby actress was criticised by human rights groups earlier this month for attending Chechen president Ramzan Kadyrov's birthday party.

She later announced plans to donate the fee she received for appearing at the party, adding that she is sorry for attending the event.

Now, Swank has allegedly made the decision to fire her manager of eight years, The Independent reports.

The 37-year-old is also allegedly considering axing two of her CAA representatives over the incident.

In July, it was reported that Swank will produce and star in an adaptation of comic book and iPhone game Shrapnel.
