Rachel Bilson 'wanted to marry Ryan Gosling'

Rachel Bilson has described Ryan Gosling as the perfect husband.

The Hart of Dixie actress revealed that she wants to marry the Ides of March star, insisting that everything about the actor is "amazing".

"I met him [once] and I didn't know what to expect," Bilson told Nylon Magazine. "He was so funny and goofy. His timing and everything was amazing. I was like, 'You're supposed to be my husband!'"

The 30-year-old went on to confess that she is obsessed with having children.

"I've always wanted kids - it's sort of an obsession," Bilson said. "But I want to do it right, where I don't have to work.

"I've heard the stories [of people balancing acting and kids], and I know it's possible. I don't know if I want that, though. I'm not sure if I want to continue to work when I have kids."

Bilson recently claimed that starring in The O.C. prepared her for her role in Hart of Dixie.

The actress is currently dating her Jumper co-star Hayden Christensen.
