'New Girl's Zooey Deschanel splits from husband Ben Gibbard

The New Girl actress and Gibbard decided to end their relationship last month, Deschanel's rep has confirmed.
A source also told US Weekly that the split was done on good terms and that the pair will remain friends.
"It was mutual and amicable. There was no third party involved," the insider explained.
Deschanel and Gibbard announced their engagement in December 2008 before marrying in a private ceremony near Seattle, Washington in 2009.
Deschanel's musical side project with M. Ward, She & Him, recently unveiled their first Christmas album, A Very She & Him Christmas.
