Kylie's lover organises romantic surprise

Kylie Minogue's French boyfriend has surprised the star with a romantic dinner on top of the Eiffel Tower.

Olivier Martinez organised a party for two to celebrate Bastille Day yesterday; he booked the top floor of the tower and brought the Australian singer along after they had enjoyed a boat trip together.

A source told the Daily Star, "Olly is always trying to think of ways to surprise Kylie and decided that he'd make her first Bastille Day since recovering from her illness special. He arranged a traditional picnic with champagne and Marie Antoinette cocktails with strawberry liqueur and Cointreau.

"It was even agreed that his dog Sheba could come along as Kylie has become really attached to the Rhodesian Ridgeback. Olly booked a car and had the pooch delivered to the tower so he could surprise Kylie, but she was more taken with his period costume.

"She's become really attached to France since meeting Olivier and is fascinated by the country's history."
