Kate Bosworth has announced that she may quit acting in favour of another career.

The actress wants to become a journalist following her experience playing reporter Lois Lane in Superman Returns.

"I definitely saw the other side of the industry," the Daily Star quotes her as saying. "I found it fascinating. Being a journalist is definitely something I would enjoy doing. Watch this space."

Bosworth is well known for her appearances in films such as Blue Crush, as well as for her current relationship with Orlando Bloom.
