Vivica A Fox, Omar White call off engagement

Vivica A Fox has called off her engagement to club promoter Omar 'Slim' White.

The pair announced their engagement in January 2011, though Fox insisted at the time that she was in no hurry to marry.

White revealed the news of his split from the actress this week, claiming that he was the one to "walk away" from the relationship after the couple grew too far apart.

"She's a good woman. It's just one of those situations where in life people outgrow each other," White explained to TooFab.

"I'm highly intelligent, very wise ,and one thing I hate is negativity and drama. I hate arguing, and I value communication no matter what the problem may be. So as in any relationship, tension can build up and I finally had to walk away."

White also insisted that the 19-year age gap between himself and Fox "didn't play a part" in their split, and that he was "only in it for love".
