Alexandra Burke dating Jamie Foxx protégé Marcus Anthony

Alexandra Burke has revealed that she has a new boyfriend.

The former X Factor winner, who returned to the show as a guest judge last week, is dating American singer Marcus Anthony.

Anthony is apparently Jamie Foxx's protégé and didn't know who Burke was when he initially met her, The Mirror reports.

"We met at a Michael Jackson concert and he thought I was a backing dancer," Burke said. "It was only later on that he Googled me and he found out the truth.

"It's early days but Marcus is brilliant and gorgeous; I really like him. This is our very first official date. Watch this space."

Burke recently told Digital Spy that the release of her second album has been pushed back until 2012.

"I'm just putting my little thing on it. I'm executive producer of this album, so I don't want it to go wrong," she revealed. "I oversee absolutely everything. Nothing passes my ears. I hope you guys love it as much as I love creating it."
