Hilary Swank dropped by PR after Chechnya incident

Swank was criticised by human rights groups last month after making a paid appearance at the birthday party of Chechen president Ramzan Kadyrov.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Swank's public relations firm 42West has parted ways with the actress over a disagreement of how best to deal with the fallout from the event.
The news comes only one week after Swank fired Jason Weinberg, her manager for the past eight years, as well as two of his associates at CAA.
Following the controversy surrounding her appearance, Swank apologised for attending the event and promised to donate her fee to charity.
She also denied personal responsibility for her appearance, claiming that she would not have attended if she had "full understanding of what this event was apparently intended to be".
Both 42West and Swank herself have yet to comment on the reported split.
