Guy Sebastian has said that he loves his life.

The ARIA Award-nominated Australian singer, who is also a judge on reality television show The X Factor, said that he is looking forward to becoming a father next year.

While filming the video for his latest single 'Don't Worry Be Happy' at Watsons Bay in Sydney, Sebastian told the Herald Sun: "It's a good time for a song like this to remind yourself things aren't that bad.

"What the heck have I got to complain about - I have a dream job [and] a kid on the way, which [wife] Jules and I are pumped about."

Sebastian described the video shoot as "crazy", saying: "We started at 4am and then I head straight to X Factor and finish the song."

He also revealed that the single was inspired by a road rage incident in LA, saying: "I thought I knew the guy so as he pulled alongside me, I smiled and copped a tirade of abuse. I was in a really good mood because I was on the way to play cricket and while we were batting, I wrote the song."

When Sebastian and his wife Jules announced her pregnancy recently, he said that they "can't wait to become parents".

He has previously said that every day is "special" for him and Jules.

'Don't Worry Be Happy' will be released on iTunes on November 18.
