Conrad Murray's lawyer has stated that the physician will appeal against his conviction for the involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson.
Murray was yesterday found guilty of causing the pop icon's death in 2009 by administering him with a fatal overdose of propofol.

Speaking to TMZ after the trial, defence lawyer J Michael Flanagan said that he was "very disappointed" in the decision and stated that Murray would "certainly appeal" the verdict.
Murray was handcuffed and remanded without bail after yesterday's verdict, with the judge branding him "a danger to society".
Sources claim that he has been put on suicide watch and will be kept away from other inmates for his own protection while in Los Angeles County Jail.
The doctor will be sentenced on November 29 and could face up to four years behind bars. He may also lose his licence to practice medicine.
Murray's defence team had argued that Jackson administered an overdose of propofol himself, while witnesses for the prosecution claimed that the 58-year-old ordered for drug vials to be hidden.
A statement from Jackson's family issued after the verdict read: "The Estate of Michael Jackson and Michael himself has always believed the jury system works, and despite the tragedy that brought about this trial we are in agreement with the jury's verdict.
"In this case justice has been served. Michael is missed on a daily basis, but his genius and his music will be with us forever."
