Kate Winslet waxwork unveiled by Madame Tussauds: Pictures
Kate Winslet's new waxwork has been unveiled at Madame Tussauds in London.
The Oscar-winning actress topped a survey of visitors to the attraction, which saw her named 'Britain's Best Leading Lady'.
Winslet's waxwork recreates her Emmy Awards 2011 look, which saw her wear a red Elie Saab bandage dress.
Described as a "modern screen icon", Winslet topped the poll, leaving Dame Helen Mirren and Dame Judi Dench in second and third place respectively. Madame Tussauds has placed the waxwork in the A-list party area.
"Guests from around the world voted for Kate Winslet in droves - she has clearly got wide reaching global appeal", Madame Tussauds' Liz Edwards said.
"She is an iconic actress of a generation, a true English Rose, and we're delighted to be creating a figure of her."
