Pippa Middleton 'splits from boyfriend Alex Loudon'

Pippa Middleton has reportedly split from her long-term boyfriend Alex Loudon.

The younger sister of Kate Middleton is believed to have ended her three-year relationship with the cricketer after a series of heated rows.

Sources told The Sun that Loudon had been struggling to cope with Pippa's rising status since the royal wedding and speculation of a romance with Prince Harry.

"It was said after the wedding that Alex was jealous of Pippa flirting with Prince Harry," the insider said. "But the truth is she and Harry are just mates."

Pippa has reportedly been seeking comfort from Kate and her husband Prince William in the wake of the split.

"Pippa tried to get over the split by spending last weekend with Wills and Kate at Balmoral," they claimed. "She and Alex split briefly in the summer - but this time it's over. They are barely speaking."

They added: "[Pippa's] always gone for sporty guys. Whoever is lucky enough to win her affections will have to be athletic."
