Zoe Saldana splits with fiancé after 11-year romance

Zoe Saldana has announced her split from fiancé Keith Britton.

The Avatar actress and her entrepreneur partner "have amicably separated after 11 years" together, her spokesperson confirmed today (November 12).

Saldana's representative added that the pair will "remain committed business partners" and continue to run resource website My Fashion Database together.

Saldana became engaged to Britton in June 2010.

Their new relationship status was first revealed by her Avatar co-star Michelle Rodriguez, who said that the couple "should've married a long time ago".

Saldana previously stated that she admires Britton's sensitivity, explaining: "I mean, I'm not saying I love a man who cries, but I think that can be very sexy."
