Miley Cyrus: 'Don't call me fat'

Miley Cyrus has defended herself against criticisms of her weight.

The singer took to Twitter to respond to accusations of being fat, tweeting her followers that she loves herself just the way she is.

"By calling girls like me fat this is what you're doing to other people," Cyrus wrote. "i love MYSELF & if you could say the same you wouldn't be sitting on your computer trying to hurt others (sic)."

Cyrus's friend Demi Lovato then tweeted her support for her fellow singer.

"Whoever called you that has it coming. Miss you more than ever," Lovato wrote.

Cyrus is currently dating Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth. The actor recently admitted that he struggles to understand why Cyrus is with him.

Earlier this month, the singer joined the cast of Hotel Transylvania, voicing the teenage daughter of Count Dracula in the forthcoming animated 3D comedy.
