A representative for Maury Povich revealed that the host hopes to have the 'Mistletoe' singer appear on his show, after 20-year-old Mariah Yeater filed a lawsuit claiming that Bieber is the father of her 3-month-old daughter.
"We are actively pursuing this story," the spokesperson told the The Huffington Post.
Bieber has previously said that he will take a DNA test to prove that he is not the father of Yeater's baby.
"This would be a huge TV event," Amy Rosenblum, former executive producer of Maury, said. "When I brought the DNA test to TV for the first time on Maury, I had no idea it would still be as popular today as it was then."
She continued: "Maury is trusted by millions of viewers, and if Maury told Justin, 'You are not the father', everyone would believe it."
Earlier this month, the 17-year-old claimed that he has never met Yeater before .
