Heavy D funeral to be held at famous New York City church

The rapper - real name Dwight Arrington Myers - passed away last week at the age of 44 after collapsing outside of his Beverly Hills, CA home.
Heavy D will be laid to rest on Friday, November 18 at New York's Grace Baptist Church of Mount Vernon, which was established in 1888.
Mary J Blige, Sean 'P Diddy' Combs and Eddie F will be among the stars to pay tribute to Heavy D during Friday's private service, according to MTV News.
A public memorial will be held one day earlier on Thursday in Heavy D's hometown of Mount Vernon, NY.
Heavy D released a series of popular singles over the course of his career, including the US Top 40 hits 'Alright (Remix)', 'Now That We Found Love' and 'Got Me Waiting'.
His eighth and final studio album Vibes was released in December 2008.
