Madonna and Ritchie to adopt

Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie are taking active steps towards adopting a child.

The celebrity couple want another sibling for Lourdes and Rocco, but the singer seems unable to conceive again.

As well as contacting UK and US adoption agencies, the pair have also spoken to close friend Brad Pitt about his experience with adoption.

A source revealed: “Madonna and Guy are serious about adopting a baby. They had a meeting with a British adoption agency but were not satisfied that it was the right one. So they found another agency in America and had a meeting with them about becoming parents to an orphaned baby.

“They have discussed the plans with the children and Lola, as they call Lourdes, is very excited about the prospect of getting a new brother or sister.”
