The mother-of-eight flew to Australia this week to join the Crocodile Hunter's widow Terri and his children Bindi, 13, and Bob, 7, at the event which honours his legacy.
Gosselin's children did not accompany her on the trip, although she took to Twitter following her arrival to say they would be missed.
"Hello! Here in Aussieland & having SO much fun! Wish my kids were here 2 - greatly missed! (sic)" she wrote.
"GM from sunny and warm Aus!! I am looking forward 2 Steve Irwin Day tomorrow! Always amazed by the beauty of this, my 2nd favourite country!:)"
During her visit to Australia Zoo on November 14, the former Kate Plus 8 star posed for photographs, fed the crocodiles and left her signature and hand prints in a slab of concrete, reports the Daily Mail.
Gosselin met the Irwins when she visited Australia with her children - twins Mady and Cara and sextuplets Aaden, Collin, Joel, Alexis, Hannah and Leah - earlier this year to film episodes of the now-ended Kate Plus 8.
She later said that she "missed" Terri and although they were in contact by email she was looking forward to reconnecting again in the future.
Gosselin recently began work with CouponCabin.com, where she serves as a blogger offering tips on how to save money.
