'Twilight' star Ashley Greene: 'I'm still grounded'

Ashley Greene has insisted that she is still grounded in spite of her Twilight fame.

The 24-year-old revealed that her friends and family have been supportive of her career, which has helped her to stay humble.

"I have the same friends and family and the same kind of foundation that have kept me grounded from the very beginning," Greene told People. "That's probably the only thing that hasn't changed."

She went on to say that her role in The Twilight Saga has taught her to be comfortable with herself.


"I've learned so much about myself," Greene said. "Especially as a woman, I just kind of really am much more comfortable with myself and have more of a sense of who I am and what I stand for than I did when I started."

Earlier this week, Greene described the bond between Twilight cast members as very special, saying that she is sure her relationships with the cast members will stand the test of time.

In July, the actress said that her Twilight character Alice Cullen's hairstyle is "more modern" in the final instalments.
