The former personal doctor of Jackson, who is still currently residing at the Los Angeles County Jail medical ward, has allegedly told his visitors that he has "lost the will to live", according to TMZ.
Sources close to Murray have apparently said that he is still at the medial ward because he is on suicide watch, rather than because he is ill.
L.A. County Sheriff Department spokesperson Steve Whitmore did not confirm why Murray is in the medial ward, saying: "A person's medical or mental health status in the Los Angeles County Jail is protected under the law."
He will remain in custody until his sentencing on November 29. He faces a possible four years in jail for allegedly administering a lethal dose of propofol to Jackson.
Conrad Murray recently said that he does not feel guilty over Jackson's death.
