Matt Cardle has teamed up with Battlefront's 'Let's Talk About Sex Education' campaign to help raise awareness of sex education in schools.
The X Factor winner was snapped alongside teen campaigner Shereece Marcantonio - winner of Miss Teen East London 2011 - who will present a report to prime minister David Cameron which will call for "peer-to-peer" teaching to be added to the national curriculum.

Cardle - photographed opposite the Houses of Parliament - held a bunch of inflated, multi-coloured condoms. Admitting that he found sex education embarrassing at school, Cardle said that he figured things out for himself and by talking to friends.
"Having looked at Shereece's campaign on the Battlefront website, it was great going along with her on the day that she presented all her research to the ministers and being able to show my support. I think what she is doing is great," the 'Run for Your Life' singer said.

Cardle's new single 'Starlight', the latest to be lifted from his debut album Letters, is available to download now.
Marcantonio's Battlefront campaign will be shown on Channel 4 on Sunday morning.
